Multiple award-winning composer Stefan Kristinkov has scored numerous films to critical acclaim. A recent recipient of ASCAP Foundation's Jimmy Van Heusen Award, he has won prizes for his music at the Bare Bones International Film and Music Festival, as well as at the Garden State Film Festival. His music compositions and arrangements are performed internationally and have appeared on mayor international TV show and singing competitions, including The Morning Star and The Eurovision Song Contest.
His film credits include scores for director Gabe Rodriguez's drama The Sisters Kardos; for the documentary The Hollywood Experience, with William Sadler and John Schneider; and for Aaron J. Lucas's award-winning short Question 50. Stefan's has also scored one of the very first interactive films in existence, a sci-fi drama from the United Kingdom called Survivor.
Stefan has won top prizes as a songwriter - at the Independent Music Awards, as well as the Grand Prize in the Jazz category at the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. He cowrote and coproduced the rock cantata Witches Night, and contributed on the musical Loving the Silent Tears, directed by Vincent Paterson.
As a performer he has toured extensively in and around Europe and the United States, with the world-fusion group, The Groove of the Nile and the international reggae project, Los Amigos. Stefan's long-time collaborations include many saucerful music projects with Dmitry Klevansky, Cantor Baruch Chauskin and The Three Horizons. He has also participated as a judge at various film festivals, including for the Philadelphia Independent Film Awards and the Meters International Film Festival.
